He had literally no defence. He had an awkward jab and some skills, but no head movement.

 

Except I don't think Pulev has any power to trouble Wilder like Ortiz.

For whatever reason I recently watched 2013 Pulev vs an almost 42 year old Tony Thompson in Germany and Thompson won 4 rounds. The same Thompson who was getting outboxed, hurt and dropped by upper-British/fringe Euro level Price a couple of months earlier before Price gassed in the 4th.

Big stiff stationary idiot Pulev would stand opposite Wilder, jabbing away with no KO threat and sooner rather than later, Wilder would take his head off with a fast right hand from distance.

 

Pulev has never been a player at the top level. He’d stand off Wilder for a few rounds then get heavily KO’d

Pulev is the much better boxer but I have a feeling that Wilder catches up to him later in the fight. I'd say 60% Wilder KO or 40% Pulev UD.

Decent size and jab, but too easy to hit. I'd probably pick even Whyte to stop him, Pulev's a sucker for the lead hook.

 

I hope Wilder does not retire as he still brings a lot of interest to the division despite his losses to Fury. Let’s see who else can pull off the win over Wilder without getting themselves KTFO in the process .
