    3 Conlan
    4 Wood
    5 Conlan
    6 Wood
    7 Wood
    8 Wood
    9 Conlan
    10 Wood

    104-103 Wood

Thats how i had it watching the replay today, after not watching it live amazing fight.

Rounds 6 and 7 were close to me and debatable rounds, i could also definitely see Conlan being ahead by 1 or 2 points at the time of the stoppage.

Definitely the front runner for FOTY.

Fight was hanging in the balance going into the final round, and given the variation of scoring from round to round it's entirely possible that my prediction of Conlan SD might have come true had he not gotten clocked against the ropes. Anyway, I thought Wood only clearly won a couple of rounds (8 and 11), but there were cases to be made for him to be winning at least two or three more (4, 6, and 10). I awarded him the 10th, and had Conlan up 116-111 going into the final round, but I can't really hate a card that was a couple of points closer.

If Wood can't land a unification fight, then hopefully a rematch can be made. Hard to see how it could top this one, though.

This fight has given both men a great deal of hype, this is one of those events that'll be remembered as just the beginning of the peak of popularity for these guys.

Just a random thing I noticed on the undercard, Juan Carlos Rubio was cornered by his father, Juan Carlos Rubio sr. The name sounded familiar and I think Sr. was the guy who initially derailed the Panchito Bojado train and gave Bojado his first L.

I watched the fight finally, will rewatch in a couple of days. WHAT A FIGHT. my card for my first watch was 105-103 to mick, but there were a lot of close rounds so i think itll be closer when i rewatch. To those who have watched leigh wood, how long has he been under Ben? And does he really never keep his left hand up? Its what i noticed from taylor and lee mcgregor. Is it a big ben trend of forgetting to keep their lead hand up? Thanks!

I did not get to see this fight until somewhere about round 10 the first time and I thought it was about time I watched it.

Round 1 - 10-8 Conlan - Smashing KD at the end of the round for Conlan
    Round 2 - 10-9 Conlan
    Round 3 - 10-9 Conlan
    Round 4 - 10-9 Wood Close
    Round 5 - 10-9 Conlan
    Round 6 - 10-9 Wood
    Round 7 - 10-9 Conlan
    Round 8 - 10-9 Wood
    Round 9 - 10-9 Conlan
    Round 10 - 10-9 Wood
Round 11 - 10-8 Wood - Not much of a knockdown but it counts
Round 12 - I did see the knockout when it happened. It's just as scary to watch this time.

Great fight - I had it 104-103 through 11 rounds. For what seemed to be a back and forth fight there were a lot of rounds where the high percentage of the forum agreed.

Wood was still noticeably affected by the knockdown at the end of round one and if Conlan was a stronger fighter he probably would have stopped Wood in the second.

I'm not sure I think this is a Fight of the Year candidate but the kayo may earn Wood the Knockout of the Year nod.

It has to earn candidacy by default (Gill vs Guerfi which I think was also on this card too), but it got surpassed by Briedis vs Opetaia.
