I got over 3 thousand on those machines, so it sounds legit that he does punch harder than heavyweights.
Clearly this machine responds to speed as opposed to power. In that respect, the fact that Davis is a midget aided him immeasurably. The trajectory of the punch, the angle it's coming from, the fact that he can get full extension, full speed and properly sit down on it, gave him the edge. Poor Wilder and Breazeale, they were both much taller, and eye to eye with the top of the damn thing. They had to punch down from an angle they couldn't get full power behind.and they were probably both afraid they'd make a mistake and hit the machine itself and **** their knuckles up. You could tell Dominic hesitated and pulled that punch slightly. They should put this theory to the test, let Dominic get down on his knees and let Tank load up on a shot, and see if he KO's him. Then let Dominic return the favor.
Ok so if he landed one on Fury, if he could reach him, he’d catch his attention or would Fury say “Come on when you’re ready”. He’d flatten Spinks the way Tyson does. I doubt it very much. He hits hard that’s for sure. He’d seriously injure a guy in the street but a heavyweight or down to maybe light welterweight no way.
Those machines only register the speed of contact not the power of the punch. Smaller faster guys always get higher scores than bigger people.
That's the funny thing before I used to look at all these guys like they were monsters among men when I was skinny teenager like even a guy like Ivan Calderon who was a strawweight that was 5'0 and 49kg with 6 knockouts there's no way you could of convinced me that a non fighter even with size and some ability to handle himself could of beaten him in a fight. Until I started training in BJJ, MMA, Muay Thai etc It really opened my eyes up to how big these dudes actually are.
And just to be fair, you'd have to plop tank, standing, on a stool to take a DB haymaker. That would be pretty messy

Fans who watch boxing primarily on TV see these little guys and think they are monsters. When you see them in person, they are the size of children.
