Yessir. Burnett, Oubaali, Young, and Gaballo are similar levels to Fielding, Smith, Plant,Yildirum, and Saunders. Nonito crushed them and crushed them early.
Easily. His entire offense whether stalking, on the back foot, or in the center of the ring consist of countering.

Errr…It’s the perfect counter. The aim of a counter punch is to counter their punch with your punch. 3 ways to counter: 1) defensive - you pulling back, or blocking; they hit you and they reach and in that split moment as they’re off balance or out of defensive position, that’s when you “counter” with your own punch as you see that opening. This is the easiest way as you stay out of harms way. Ali, Floyd, Lara, JMM, this is their style. 2) Aggressive counterpunching - you move forward and face the incoming attack. You can walk them down and catch their shots and counter ala Pac with his overhand, Hopkins with that beauty blocking of the left hook with his right arm and then he throws his right hand inside whilst the opponents left hand is still out, or Tyson/Loma/Pac where he will slip/roll and put you off balance, get in angle and then counter. This is much harder to pull off than the 1st and you need a good chin. 3) punch when you punch counter. You don’t even wait for them to throw a punch and THEN you throw a punch, you literally punch as they punch. Chavez did this so well, Inoue does it, GGG, Morales, Canelo does it, Pac does it. Floyd and Ali does this beautifully with the right hand counter over the top of their opponents jab. you need serious speed or timing to pull off #3 and is by far the hardest to pull off. But it is the perfect counter as it doesn’t give the opponent anytime to readjust to their failed punch, they get countered before they even realise they failed in their own punch. To an extent, guys like Maidana and Margarito did this as well except their chin was the defense. It’s also extremely off-putting to throw a punch and get hit before you even miss. When your throwing and missing and getting countered, you at least feel like you can do something about it by just missing less. When you throw a punch and get countered before you even miss, that just fks you up mentally.
Holyfield deserves a high position in the ranking imo. He won two titles with a counter punch: one with Douglas and another with Tyson I.
