Jack Dempsey s title challenger, Luis Angel Firpo, drops out due to injury.
Thru the magic of time travel, his next challenge is our very own GOAT, Mr Ingemar Johansson!!
So the Mauler verses the the Ingo s Bingo?

    My cash is on Jack.

    Lol. Well put sir!
But yes, Ingo has his Toonder Right, which had Patterson all over the place, but not sure he'd get a chance to land it here.

And if it did land, Jack s not getting kod imo.

Dempsey by KO in 3. Looks similar to the Firpo fight - but much more technical (particularly on Johansson's end). Dempsey gets rocked (& maybe dropped) early but ferociously battles back to end it by the 2nd (maybe 3rd) round.

One shouldn't discount Ingo that easily, IMO. Aside from being the GOAT, he did knock out (and floor in fight #3) a heavyweight champion whose style was modeled on Dempsey's. Floyd wasn't as durable or mean as Dempsey, but he was probably more technically skilled.

Dempsey in 3. Ingo's best chance, is not to box him, but let his hands go and hope to catch Dempsey with the right.

I see him taking Ingo out in around the same, Swag, it won't go longer than that im sure.
That is really his only chance to be fair, try and catch Jack as Firpo did and hurt him.

I have to go with Dempsey but Ingo has the better resume.

Dempsey gets a KO by 4-5. He ain't no Patterson... Somewhat competitive early on though

Upon further, slightly trollish, thought: Ingo.

If Liston and Ali get the "he was too modern for Dempsey" argument, then so does the Swede.

Ingo uses his light feet to evade Jack in the first three rounds and then drops him hard in 3. Beats him routinely to a ref stoppage in 6.
