Take it for what it was, 2 former World Champion Strongmen making their Boxing debuts.

At least Thor possessed some basic boxing fundamentals like a 1-2, a jab and some movement with his feet whereas Hall looked like a bar room brawler who thought he could mimic (badly) Dereck Chisora and his plodding easily telegraphed overhand right.

And to be fair to Thor, that was quite a decent shot with his left that put down Hall for Thors 1st KD.

I took it for what it was and enjoyed it.

Good scrap that!! Decent stamina and chins for guys making a debut. They are much better than I thought they would have been.

It was good entertainment and they both went for it. Some good knockdowns too. I thought beforehand it would be tappy-tappy nonsense and end up in a draw. It was a proper fight. That was a better fight than that HW fight in Scotland on the Taylor Catterall card.

Did anyone notice at the start of the fight the ring girl held up “Round 7” instead of “Round 1”? Bit weird since it was a 6 rounder.

also the time on the screen was always off compared to the timekeepers.

I always thought Hall was a Nichols 2.0 which makes him a beast

Thor was better than I thought he would be. Eddie was awful. No left hand. Leading with winging right hooks from the southpaw stance and telegraphing the right to a sarcastic extent when in the orthodox stance.

Still, it was weirdly entertaining to an extent.

Think Hall tore his left rotator cuff a while ago (before the fight prep for this) hence not throwing the left hand.
