But fact is, Holmes got back in the groove, got multiple title shots, and fought at a high level for nearly 15 years after the loss to Tyson. Guess I should have said an ATG who wasn't shot? Losing streak yes, shot, clearly no.

 

The Holmes rope a dope was corner fighting and done not to wear the opponent down, but to not have to chase around a young guy and make the young guy stand and fight, relying on being a better mid and close range fighter than the other guy to win rounds.

Would have been an absolute horrible strategy against Tyson. Too much power.
