Imagine if Fury didn't come back, Matchroom fans would still be celebrating.

Frank's work with Fury goes down as one of the best promotional jobs ever. Better than Matchroom's job on Joshua IMO.

Only Frank and Fury believed in the Wilder 1 fight.

 

In 2017/18 my mates and work colleagues used to laugh at me for saying he’d come back and be the #1 heavyweight. Never get smug with sporting opinions but did enjoy that one.

 

Frank's work? Arum has done wonders. Wazza was nothing but a cheerleader.

 

but Joshua has best resume he beat pulev , Parker , Ruiz , Martin poveeyetkin , etc when Fury was off

all top tenners at least some top five deepest resume and best win over Klitschko who was awesome and in best shape for years classic contest

 

Arum didn’t come on board til after the first Wilder fight tbf.

 

Wazza still did nothing in the states.

The running joke about him was that he wasn't even getting paid!

but Joshua is still top heavyweight in Britain , due to strength of resume. By far the best in the division every name is a top 10 guy

 

Martin, Breazeale, Molina and Takam were 4 of his first 5 fights for or defending the belt.

 

I didn't ever think we would see Fury in the ring again when he was pictured looking huge at the print works.

But you can't knock him for the shape he got himself into or for going into Wilder 1 without a real test.

That being said i think I always favored Tyson over Wilder so wasn't surprised how close he came to a win in fight 1.

Hopefully he can get AJ and Usyk in the ring before he calls it quit. Then he will have a fine CV.

‘Unseen story’ lol. I think even the most casual of boxing fans can recite the ‘story’ surrounding the trilogy almost word for word, it’s been done to death in like a million documentaries and interviews already.

Looking forward to more unseen stories about big sporting events we just don’t hear enough about, like Euro 96 or Hatton v Mayweather.
