    Indeed, even many big time boxing fans have no idea who Kalambay is. He was a tremendous Talent!

    I’d say Netrnoi Sor Vorasingh, sung jun kim, tae shik kim perhaps aswell.

    At some point among this, he lost a baby as well and really struggled to cope with the grief. I was trying to find information on it for the thread where fighters had every excuse to lose.

    It was in The Ring back in 93 or so I read about it, if anyone remembers/still has back issues.

    He was a cracking fighter but I never wanted him in the same ring as Trinidad.

    Yeah lightweight was his spot, and even junior welter but fighting borderline power punching greats at 147 wasn't the go.
