I think Donaire did as well as he possibly could last time. He's going to shelled and stopped in the rematch, then retire hopefully. I'll watch tho.
Casimero really had these guys rematch unexpectedly before he fought either of them, despite having a fight set with both at one point in time. What a colossal **** up his career management has been.
The first fight was worthy of being a British domestic dust up. Speaking of which. Just in the space of a month give or take a few days we've had Brit Level warriors Jordan Gill vs Karim Guerfi, Leigh Wood vs Mick Conlan and Troy Williamson vs Mason Cartwright treating us to epic FOTY contender encounters and Kiko vs Warrington the other day was a far above average scrap too. We Brits from the tiny magical isle of Great Britain with our minuscule population really are keeping the sport alive at the moment with our warrior spirit and uncanny ability to provide Gatti vs Ward excitement week in week out for fans not only over here but for fans all over the world. M Make sure you always tune in whenever there's a British domestic dust up folks because they're the envy of the boxing world.
I can't argue with that. You pasty *******s are putting on some great fights. Fury vs Whyte next too.
My two English grandsons have better scraps than those you mentioned. Both have Amir Khan level chins, however, but at 8 yrs and 6 yrs there is time for strengthing up their mandibles.
Donaire is 40 and shot. Speaks to the weakness of the division that he's currently ranked so high. It also speaks to Inoue perhaps being a bit overrated.
Do you actually watch Nonito Donaire fights? Right before and right after Inoue, Donaire has been submitting highlight reel after highlight reel KOs of world class opponents and looking dominant. There's nothing to indicate Donaire is shot. He's a tick slower, but he's more patient, a better boxer (instead of relying on his left hook), his left hook is still frighteningly powerful, and he's just as durable as before.
Stylewise, Inoue will always have a problem with Donaire. Just as Donaire will always have a problem with someone like Rigondeaux. I see Donaire gunning for it, he knew he hesitated at the wrong times. Inoue will be more cautious and work the body more. Frankly, I'd much rather see Inoue go up to 122 which he may after this fight.
