Maybe, in the past, there were some mormon bare-knuckle boxers with several wives at the same time or something like that. But I am not familiar with this topic.

Evander Holyfield deserves a mention

 

I've got a great book about Mace called "Master of the Ring". As scandalous as his womanising would have been in the Victorian era, he never sought to hide it, in fact he was very open about it. At the height of his fame, he was forced to leave his house in a fashionable area in London due to his neighbours' outrage.

 

Jake LaMotta must be a contender. Was he on wife number 6 or 7 when he died ?
He once said one of his wives divorced him because he clashed with the curtains !
