    And?
Everybody has a different ring/biological age.
Vargas and Benitez were done in their 20s while Moore and Foreman were champs in their 40s.

Thanks for explaining this....really didn't think it would need to be much clearer than how I worded it....more proof of IQ levels around here I guess.

Yes, most likely he does, there is no evidence to suggest he wouldn't.

No one in boxing history under 200 would stop him? Are you high?

Thank you! Hagler's right jab would be the difference in a fight with Golovkin, even Duran's slick head movement had problems with it. I think it goes the distance with Hagler taking it 10-5 or 9-6 though if Gennady tries to press him late knowing he's behind Hagler could stop him. Marvin is a legitimate top 3 middleweight of all time , GGG is not.

    Both great fighters.

I'm not sure who would win. Golovkin was top notch on his prime, Hagler was similarly top level.

What's the evidence? He's never been hurt in his career and he's fought huge punchers and been caught by huge punchers.

Who's the biggest puncher ggg faced? There's no evidence because he's never faced a big puncher. The biggest puncher he fought is probably lemiuex. I could name a host of fighters that could stop him and many more who would stop him under 200 pounds. If you don't think a guy like Bob foster at 175 wouldn't stop ggg then you're crazy.

While there are definitely loads of boxers who boxed under 200 who could, and probably would, stop GGG (Dempsey, Louis, Marciano, Ali, Holyfield, Usyk, Spinks...the list is long), Hagler probably wasn't one of them.

I don't see anyone who could make 160 stopping GGG.

Hagler (RIP) thought very highly of GGG and it would be a great fight.

I'd pick Marvellous Marvin to eek out a close UD.

No evidence to suggest he would either. Their power is leagues above anybody GGG has ever faced. Michael Moorer would just walk GGG down 0 difficulty and battar him. GGG will eventually succumb to the shots and the ref will have to step in. Foster will land at will and he's one of the hardest punchers to ever grace LHW as was Michael Spinks. GGG will not brush those shots off, if it goes 12 rounds it's because he feels something and then goes into survival mode.

Floyd Patterson would've tore Golovkins ass up. Just ravaged him. Easy TKO win. I don't even need to get into that

The point is most fighters don’t get better with age. BHop fought until he was 40 but he wasn’t as good as the 30 year old version. This especially holds true for fighters with a long amateur career. GGG has a lot of miles on the odometer. He’s not the same fighter he was six or seven years ago. I still like Hagler but 33 year old GGG would have beaten Hagler at that age. Young prime Hagler beats any MW fighter. Hagler is my ATG MW fighter.

I agree with most of that.
Funny enough I think B Hop did most of his impressive work on his resume at light heavy-this from age 40 onwards.
Not ever fair though to match up a fighter in his last fight,Hagler was well diminiahed.
