No, he does not look good, but how could he be in good physical and mental shape with what's going on in Ukraine? Needs some Canelo tainted beef very quickly.
If he trains well, he'll beat Joshua again. Joshua, on the other hand, may underestimate Usyk in the rematch because he may think Usyk is mentally and physically devastated.
I expect a Povetkin vs Whyte 2 type of match to be fair. No way he can gain the functional muscle mass he gained hard, in just 2-3 months time. He may gain mass, but won't be functional unfortunately, just like post 2x time COVID Povetkin. Usyk is making a mistake with the fight, as AJ is elite level fighter and will be at 110% ready.
Interesting to know exactly when, where and how the interview took place. I agree at my first look, not good. I can't really understand why Loma is not fighting Kambosis. I know everybody makes their own decisions. Perhaps, Usyks closer relationship with the Klitschkos? I just don't get it to be honest. Maybe somethjng behind the scenes. Forgetting about the conflict for a second, has Loma been promised a shot at the winner of Kambosis-Haney?
Usyk will show us 100% of his abilities soon. The fact that he was holding back in the first fight is astounding It's going to be a brutal beating for AJ
Perhaps yes, but perhaps the war is still big on his mind and it could affect him. This content is protected We all know Usyk on a good night schools Joshua so if Usyk wins then he's still game and the number 1 guy but if he loses then it's clear he's not the same as pre-war Usyk and possibly shot. Usyk putting on weight quickly could also affect him. Lets hope it's not the case
I watched this. Very interesting to see how he talks about the Klitschkos as both being close friends when so many people interpreted some sort of rift.
