Mayweather lives in your head rent free. It's always Floyd this Floyd that. Probably because he played with Clenelo. It was the physical manifestation of the word schooling. It must've hurt your heart that Floyd was simply on a totally different plane to your golden boy.

Not a big Mayweather fan either, just being objective. Mayweather loses to the top tier ATG's

So Canelo now gets respect for simply not cheating on the weight? That's what is SUPPOSED to happen, you don't get extra credit for it. Shows how easy it is to manipulate people. Because Canelo cheated before, now he gets special respect for simply obeying the rules.

And the reason he is doing this, if it actually is what it seems (because they tried to shove a hydration clause on Smith very late), is that Bivol is the smallest 175 champ and already offered fights at 168 not long ago.

I want you to remind you all the catch weight fights Pacroid had, you didn't had a problem with that right?

I expect a tight fight. Maybe controversial. Possibly a rematch. Bivol is an active fighter and very efficient. Canelo is at another level but the reach and size of Bivol here could somehow level out the game. It will be a much tougher fight for Canelo then against shot Kovalev who just pity patted Canelo in a weird sparring-like fight.

    That's if everything is fair.

If something corrupted is going on in boxing with Canelo then you should not even watch the fight because it is fix.

This is actually really a difficult fight for Canelo. If he wins at all, it's impressive. Even if he won by the "thinnest" of margins I would be impressed.

Precisely, I saw the nauseating fawning at the feet of Alvarez by the usual trio. They must take us all for fools, swallowing that guff. We all know Alvarez’s history. Just can’t take any of his fights seriously due to all the shenanigans Reynoso and him get up to. Can only hope Karma comes into play sometime. It will be glorious!

The rehydration stuff is irrelevant because Canelo and Bivol both weigh 180ish. Smallish LHWs with no issues making the weight.

Because Canelo is not your average boxer, he is The Star, he had the option to ask
and get both clauses, without problem, because the money given to the other boxer.
But no, he choose the most honorable, fair option. Btw it's a huge challenge.

dude canelo is going to **** bivol up. his greatness now has a chance to be measured. bivol is at his dangerous apex and no termater. canelo is going to administer the beatdown and then i will feel comfortable comparing him to barrera and morales and other legit mexican greats (which is what canelo is after). i'll bet money. you wanna bet money? how do we do this?
