Buy a ticket for the fight which includes transport on a National Express bus to the fight from certain zones around the country and your ticket only becomes valid once you’re on the bus. The issue people seem to have had is you can only select your pick up point after you’ve paid and pick up points local to them have sold out.
Never felt the need to go to a stadium fight, unless you've got brilliant seats, I'd rather watch it on TV and actually see what is going on. There's probably going to be loads of fights, happens quite a lot on Warren cards. Probably 60% of the crowd will be on the powder.
Spot on. All to do with event licensing and breaking the overall capacity. There are always coach tickets for these big fights but Matchroom don't seem to make as much fuss about them.
Then you have to buy a standard ticket but the majority of these seemed to have been snapped up by touts. All of the extra tickets the other day were coach tickets which is why I fail to believe they sold straight away.
It will be interesting to see how full the stadium is on the night- around two thirds full is my guess.
Only ever been to 2 Warren shows. First was Warrington Frampton where there was a 20 man brawl inside the first round and the other was a Dubois show at the Copper Box which was full of cockneys off their bonce offering people out.
This fight takes me back several years...I turned up “on spec” for Lennox Lewis/Razor Ruddock at Earls Court. Bought a £150 ticket for £70. Sat about 8 rows back from the ring. Lennox never really sold big, and there was loads of tickets being sold outside that night. Granted, at the time this was a final eliminator and not a full World title but by the way you had Espana v Meldrick Taylor for a World title also that night...
Matchroom are making all the fuss about them it seems, but only because they are not involved. Eddie is very bitter and jealous about this record breaking event lol
They'll ask Fury to kick off and throw some tables on fight week and hopefully pull a few more numbers in...
It's sold out. Full stop. To suggest it's only going to be half full is bonkers. Dillian Whyte has slit his own throat. He should have been trying to shift the PPVs, it's the only title shot he's ever going to get.
