13 fighters at 216+ is hell more than one or two. Especially if one of these guys is prime George Foreman.
But I already said, you can drop to 210-212 if you want. Feel free. Ali fought dozens of guys of todays overnight-CW. Do we really need to discuss the #1 HW resume next to former LHWs, upping to a 80s-CWs era (then called HW)?
Talking about former LHWs. The huge trimmed to the bones LHW Michael Spinks lost the rematch to Larry Holmes in most eyes. To an 50 fights aging Larry Holmes.

It depends.
On one hand, all of us would have saved lots of time in threads like "David Tua versus Jim Corbett", "Better All-Around Fighter: Primo Carnera or Riddick Bowe?" or "Rocky Marciano vs. George Foreman".
On the other hand, from a medical/psychological point of view, these cases are very interesting.

The late Larry Holmes finally lost after 20+ defense, but came back to win the rematch.
Regarding stamina of the 80s, I´m sorry again to emphasize you're wrong: Larry Holmes attended in TWENTY 15-round title fights and many of his rivals had to go 15 rounds in their era.

Regarding PEDS: We have a) no idea who did anabolics and who didn´t, or who did catabolics for that matter, b) nor do we know what any 50s guy could do with anabolics. Its two cases of a unknown.

 

This is true.
And to be fair, someone could have asked how many fighters Liston and prime Foreman met who were same size as them. Weight advantages get overlooked.
But even if someone beat guys 10lb bigger than himself, doesn´t make that boxer a favorite against fighters 30lb+ heavier with the total absence of knowledge in cases like that.
