The Ward "fight" was offered when he was already signed to fight Lemuix and had a unification bout on the horizon with the winner of Canelo/Cotto. It was never a serious offer from Ward who was using GGG's hype to draw attention to his comeback to LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT (yeah Ward was totally going to meet him at a catchweight below 168; totally a feasible thing that could happen) and even if it was GGG would be a fool to consider it.

Also, GGG wanted the fight with Froch, Froch said no and retired. There was no ducking or avoiding from either end you absolute bellend.
