WHO YOU LIKE? Cotto vs Margarito

Like I said before, my gut feeling is Margarito by knockout, but on paper, I really do not know.

 

Someone should sticky this. Anyways, bumping up all Cotto vs. Margarito threads that have polls so everyone can show their support and give their opinions on this megafight that is three days away.

 

I totally agree with Bert Sugar and Harold Lederman that this one cannot possibly last the distance and it will be a tremendous slugfest. Then, I tend to agree with Ed Mulholland that Antonio will start a whole lot faster than in the Williams' fight and that Cotto will fight on the inside... Most probably, Margo will try to block some punches at close quarters and Cotto will brutally break him down with some all mighty body shots. I see Cotto winning but he's gonna get sliced up pretty bad by the time of the stoppage.

 

I know this much, if this fight gets stopped prema****inturely cause one or the other was on the ropes and carefully selecting thier countershots, I'm gonna be murder-pissed.

 

Cotto.... doesnt matter how, just no he'll win

 

Great fight in prospect! Cotto will be victorious when all is said and done due to having more options and grinding out a result somehow..

i like margo. he's physically the bigger and stronger fighter, he has a chin made of iron, and he's just as good a body puncher as cotto is. i see him wearing down cotto and stopping him in the late rounds.
