    I miss heavyweight journeyman Mike Jameson. Always liked the guy for some reason. Anybody know what he has been up to since he retired from boxing?

    He’d have to be about 67 or 68 now ( assuming he’s still around. ) And while he made decent money as a sparring partner as well as an opponent for top fighters in the ring, it’s doubtful he made enough to retire off of. Therefore he might have had to get another job after boxing. Haven’t really heard anything about him.

    Do not know if he is now retired, as, as is mentioned he is coming up 70; but I saw an article a few years back where he is an inspector in the pest control business.

    He was Frank Bruno s first US fight I remember. Think he got him out in around 6 rounds and looked good doing it.

    No my mistake, Frank got him gone in 2 rounds.
    But he did take Tyson a few more rounds later.
