Wilder(if he still has the hunger)should be pushing like crazy for his return fight on that day. And I know it’s a long shot but if Spence/Crawford were possibly in early negotiations before the Ugas fight and since Spence didn’t take almost any damage last night,maybe Spence/Crawford can be made faster then people think and be contested on this unique date. Something about this date just screams “special attraction”and “novelty”. A throwback of super fights being on a weekday and the combo of celebrating July 4th and ending the day with a mega fight just seems like big business. Spence/Crawford would do crazy numbers if they make that fight happen on this day.
Isnt it short notice for a fight like Spence vs Crawford in modern times? Im all for it. But these days, big IF if it happens and if it does it will be towards the end of the year. Will probably be jake paul vs some other non boxer.
It pretty much is short notice for Spence/Crawford,they’d have to pretty much announce the fight this week for there to be a proper amount of time to hype that fight. Someone’s gonna take that date but it’ll probably be some crappy Triller exhibition fight like Logan Paul/Mike Tyson or something lol. It just seems like a such unique,good date for a mega fight though.
