I think he has. Bivol has been masterful in inflicting real damage against big, powerful opponents. I think Canelo is in for a long night.

There is a good chance that he has.
& if he hasn’t this time, he most likely will eventually.

he is just that kind of guy these days. . . Death wish

I don't think it is a death wish as much as it is "he is reading his own clippings." He may win the fight. Time will tell but he is SO full of himself right now. I think Bivol beats him, maybe even knocks him out. It kind of depends on how the two fighters approach the fight. If Canelo is content with shelling up anything can happen on the cards. We all know this.

I've been going back and forth on this fight since it was announced and I'm still not completely sure who I'm picking to win. However, I am leaning toward Alvarez. In his last two bouts, Bivol just hasn't looked as much like a world class, top of the line fighter as he previously had.

If Bivol went to school on the Alvarez-Kovalev fight he knows the game plan to use. Canelo struggled with Krusher's jab and reach and Bivol has better pure boxing skills than Kovalev. I'm just not sure Bivol has the will or strength to keep Alvarez away from him for 12 rounds.

he keeps going up in weight
Challenging champions he will eventually lose or he is getting knocked out.

One thing for sure, win lose or draw
he will be taking more & more damage
At these higher weight classes it will take a toll.

He clearly believes he is great & is pushing to do so.

To an average Joe like me that is a death wish. To a guy like him it is pushing for greatness & defining his legacy.

Either way the boxing fans win.
Let him keep biting & chewing says I.

I like Bivol and he beat Smith Jr .
I think this goes into the deep waters and Canelo struggles a few times.

Canelo by Krusher style very late TKO or MD

Hard fight to call. I believe it goes the full 12 round distance, and Canelo will win a competitive decision.

I don't think Bivol hits hard enough to stop Canelo.

Yeah, if Bivol wins 8-4 in rounds, he will likely lose 8-4 on the judges cards.

I personally think Bivol gets robbed and there is no rematch clause

Maybe, but imo this is the dude that the best chance to beat canelo(how big are those chances is debatable), better chances than Beterbiev.

All the other names, charlos and benavidez would look like cherrypicks.
