Well even if he wasn't diagnosed, it seems obvious he suffers from depression with the extreme weight gain and the bizarre things he says.

 

I think it's fair to say he's a pathological liar, which is a legitimate psych diagnosis.

It is hard to imagine a more textbook example than him!

 

Just seems like histrionic behavior to me. It’s not like he’s out there getting arrested.

People with bipolar disorder don't necessarily engage in criminal behavior.

I mean Winston Churchill wasn't going out and getting arrested.

 

Same wife. No cheating/prostitutes. No arrests. No suicide attempts. No rehab. No bankruptcy. Never got cancelled. Obesity, drug abuse/alcoholism vanished immediately once his boxing license came back. Consistency in the ring. Never named a psych med, which is how bipolar is treated.

It just doesn't add up to me. Overweight young men who like to drink and do coke is commonplace for England. Their culture practically dictates it.

 

None of this is necessarily inconsistent with him having bipolar disorder.
