Great value on DAZN UK for one month if one subscribed yesterday but I do accept that card above is far superior when compared to next week in Manchester with the Connor Benn fight along with Alycia Bum on the undercard.
Seen Macklin, Joe Gallagher and Josh Kelly all in the last week saying fighting on DAZN gives you no profile.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-61139483 Interesting. I know DAZN is more niche but I wonder if this is also the case?
Reckon it will be. My Netflix has gone up to 15 quid a month so I’m going to cancel it. Not because I can’t afford it but because there’s just not much on there that interests me, which will probably be the case for DAZN subscribers when they look at the UK schedule.
We have it for 6 months, cancel for 6 months and keep doing that. Watch everything, cancel. Let it fill back up, resub
Belts will tighten given inflation, fuel costs etc. Sky/BT will also have similar issues with cancellations come the Winter.
Ironically the one that I will 100% keep will would be Eurosport. BT Sport, the two main things they have for me is MotoGP/WRC. Which you can pay £90 a year to watch them through their own streaming. Sky I use as and when via Now TV, and I share that with a mate
This content is protected On BT we get these 3 and on DAZN we get Bellew, Chris Lloyd and a tanked up Molly McCann ringside. Still remember Hearn making us all wait for his 'talent reveal' announcement as if it was going to be anything other than his mates that Sky didn't want to keep.
Excellent post. The talent reveal was the most embarrassing part of what’s turned out to be a pretty embarrassing all round situation. ‘ His mates that Sky didn’t want to keep’…..brilliant!
I'm thinking of ditching it for the same reason. I got a lot more out of it a few years ago when they bought most of their content in. Now it's full with the stuff they've chosen to make themselves and there's very little that appeals. I can't help thinking that whilst Eddie may have read the market of 2019 correctly, the market of 2022 is very different indeed and it's a bad time to embark on what will be another line on the bank statement as the energy bills take a huge bite out of everyone's 'disposable' income. Of course whilst the newcomers may be the first to feel the chill, those sky and BT subs won't be immune either. Eventually the ripple effect is going to travel a long way beyond boxing.
The biggest mystery in boxing has finally been solved. https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/18298252/maya-jama-leaves-dazn-boxing/
