Think it through his equilibrium. I think without the shove he might have had a chance give their was no time left in the round. I stress might.

but for me he should have spat the gum shield out but the warrior mentality took over

I still respect you and your opinion Pal as we do on anything we disagree on but for me it was clear as day Povetkin was in the ring when he should have been on a ventilator.

Whyte is just a big plodder, some of the stuff I've read on this forum past couple of weeks about what Whyte was capable of doing from people more knowledgeable than me made me doubt what I've seen from him over years.

Matchroom need a lot of credit for giving Whyte the career he's had, got all these casuals thinking he's the bogeyman with an incredible CV because he beat Povetkin out of the hospital bed, 4 foot Oscar Rivas and Derek ****in Chisora. Casuals mention Lucas Browne on this incredible CV for God's sake.

Whyte was out which is why he fell down like he did, luckily for him Fury didn't throw another punch.

    Oh FFS.

He was only there to get his pay day, it was obvious from the start!!

If it was up to me i would have him earning his money instead of stealing it...

sadly some people really bought in to this BS and thought DW and TF would put on a great fight, they are showmen and earn their living that way, the crowd was fantastic but thick as **** they bought into it!!

The way he jumped up on two feet - it was proper amateur. Should have gave himself a second, took a knee first then got up.

He was out on his feet. He just got up on instinct and heart. Didn't even have the consciousness to hear what number of the count he was on.

Tbf to fury and probably whyte as well....thats now chisora, klitchko, wilder and whyte all looking poor against fury.

At some point you,ve got to credit fury more than discredit the opponent.

Hes making a habit of doing it to opponents. Usyk will be interesting....one guy i m pretty certain fury wont be able to shut down...although massive size/height power advantage might make it a moot point anyway.

Fury should go for the grandstand finish
....usyk then joshua to finish off pretty much a perfect career.

Joshua would be as easy as Whyte for him. Both tailor-made for him.

Whyte did what he normally does, but he realised he's way too far out to sea quickly. He even tried to get dirty and ended up getting cut.

Tyson's uppercut was like some master samurai sword swipe.

I hope we get to see him vs usyk and AJ before he retires.

So looking at people I've Trafford and others the shove meant Whyte couldn't recover, not the punch.

    Love a good narrative
