No time like the present. If this is really it, how does he stack up all time H2H and with his resume?

Fury vs Holmes/Lewis would be my favourites - they have the styles that would work best I feel. War of the jabs!

If Fury beats Usyk he is no doubt the best of his generation.
But when you look at all time greats- Fury beat a very poor Whyte tonight

He's competitive with any ATG. I might still favour Lewis because he could rough you up on the inside, had a great assortment of punches and a jab to boot.

Still too soon to say, since Fury’s career isn’t over yet.

I think Lennox Lewis, Ali, Mike Tyson would all give him problems

Man, I think he's competitive from only a physical perspective. He poses no technical risk to actual ATG's. I really think the hype around Fury is just that, hype. Every gets caught up believing the current champion is capable of wiping the division in other eras but I really can't see Fury being able to fight guys like Foreman, Louis, Marciano, Schmeling, Liston, Ali. Even just large contenders like Canera or Simon I think give Fury trouble. His only great attribute is size, Fury, I really don't believe he is technically proficient and I think even 'smaller' fighters like Louis would have him out within 15 rounds.

Would probably favor Lewis, Ali, Holmes, and Tyson against him. I think Foreman and Liston are toss-ups.

Tyson? With how strong and effective Fury is in a clinch? Every time Tyson closed, he'd be grabbed, clinched, leaned on, mauled. Fury would stop him eventually. I bet heavily on Fury here.

I heavily favor Lewis over Fury though. I heavily favor Lewis over everyone today. Fury doesn't have much of a reach advantage over Lewis, and Lewis is all around more skilled with bigger power. Fury is awkward, but I don't think it would be enough.

Holmes... hm. He'd be at a decent reach disadvantage, although his skill level was much higher than that of anyone fighting at HW these days not named Usyk. Would be a good fight.

Ali? No idea, but would love to see it. Some of that speed would be negated by the reach advantage of Fury, I'd think.

Glad Fury is padding his paper thin resume…in fashion to. Beat a decent fighter in Whyte. Not great but good and made him look amateurish…although Whyte being so out of shape was a disgrace imo. Guy was sucking wind bad without doing much of anything. Fury’s biggest problem legacy wise is resume…he needs some Ws. His three best wins are as follows
    Wlad
    Wilder
    Whyte….
Nothing much after worth mentioning. He’s perfectly capable of getting some nice wins on there. He beats Usyk he will break my top 20…if Usyk beats him he will break my top 20. They both really need to fight.

The Wilder trilogy and Wlad win are way up the list for best wins but he needs the padding. It's a resume with similarities to Bowe, M Spinks@heavy, Norton, and Foreman. He has the zero though.

Yeah man one or two decent ones can put him in the top 15 or so. Maybe one of the oddest fighters all time. Hard to get a read on him. I think Usyk is better but I think it’s close. Both are getting old so want to see the fight sooner rather then later

I don't know that Fury loses to Usyk. He'd probably try to box and if that failed he'd grapple which might work given the enormous size and strength difference.

If he beat Usyk and Joshua then retired, I'd have trouble not putting him in the top five. That would arguably be best top five wins ever at heavyweight rivaling Ali. Probably won't happen like that though.

He's a unicorn. Lewis gives him his hardest battle but he is competitive with anyone. He absolutely destroys Tyson, Louis, Frazier, Marciano, Johnson...
