Even I have had enough, it’s too much now. So I’ll post one last piece then retire till next week. I am going to shut down the notion that Dillian Whyte is a mediocre heavyweight today who is irrelevant. And I am not going to use my opinion and I will defer to Ex WBO World Champion Joseph Parker who was interviewed on his bout with Whyte: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.sk...lian-whyte-hit-him-harder-than-anthony-joshua Blurbs: “For me, he had the will to win. I caught him with some good shots, and I know I rocked him in the beginning, but he dug deep, he stayed in there.” “It's not surprising to see, but I could have done more in terms of trying to rough him up, but he showed how bad he wanted it. For me, it was a privilege fighting someone like that. Even though I lost the fight, I learned a lot more from that then I did with fights that I had won.” Aydamns comments: Tony Bellew also on reiterated this in his live commentary of the bout “Parker is in there feeling sorry for himself, taking a look to his corner early here which is never a good sign” “Definitely longer than I expected. I thought I was out of range and then boom, it hit me. He's got long arms and he uses his jab a lot better, boxed a lot better than I thought he would box.” Aydamns comments: David Haye also reiterated on how long Whytes jab is when they sparred, he says its a few inches longer than you think it is... every time you think you are out of range he gets you with it. so there you have it, Parker, praising Whyte. Not so mediocre now is he? Or irrelevant. Next week I’ll post some more interviews from other professional fighters who praise whyte as a top level fighter.
Imagine thinking David Haye and Tony Bellew's comments are worthy There are posters on here, multiple infact who's opinions I hold in higher regard.
Parker lives in a pineapple under the sea George Fox is who? no good is he Tom Little a man who fights like a tree
Whyte is indeed a mediocre HW. But what he is extremely good at is self promotion. Other boxers could learn much from him on that front. Fair play. He has made the most of his limited talent. And made wodgers of cash. Right no more Whyte threads for a month please.
George Fox is the person who believes Whyte is currently one of the two best British Heavyweights, with Fury being the other. If you think Dillian Whyte is currently one of the two best British Heavyweights, then your opinion holds no weight. It really, really doesn't. I basically said this to Aydamn on another thread and he threw a hissy fit and asked me what my credentials are, as he does when you don't agree with him that Whyte is the best even though he is levels below Fury and Joshua.
Whyte was a fine fighter until that Poverkins uppercut which finished him. However...after Rivas its downward spiral began.
