To me, he’s a part of Mexican boxing but not a Mexican fighter. Otherwise, he’d be my choice as #1 easily.
Honestly that's a perfect way of putting it. I would just not call him Cuban (fully) yes, he was born there, but the country disavowed him and its sad to call yourself Cuban when even Cuba itself doesn't want you, all because you wanted a better life for yourself. And because of that he was adopted by Mexico. This man deserves a nation to call home. But yes, I agree with your statement, but for this survey, I'll allow it, IF that is apart of A person's survey, I won't be mad.
1. Julio Cesar Chavez 2. Ruben Olivares 3. Salvador Sanchez 4. Miguel Canto 5. Carlos Zarate 6. Vicents Saldivar 7. Canelo Alvarez 8. Ricardo Lopez
Got you logged @Sangria! Thank you for your contribution. Also, thank you everyone who has participated thus far. I should be becoming more active (due to bereavement) but it has been an interesting time. But much like the "Mexican style" of boxing, I have to "pressure forward, and keep throwing punches", thanks everyone.

Thank you @Mteslamiller for your submission. So far that is, 23 LISTS contributed and almost 1000 points distributed amongst these Mexican Legends. It's coming along greatly. Thanks everyone for their understanding and those who contributed already. Keep it up. Tag people you'd like to see contribute if you'd want, cause the more people the BIGGER THE IMPACT! Thanks again!
