If you look at the whole build up, okay, Whytes decided to make a stand, do no promo, do no show, do things on his own terms, but when he actually rocked up, he acted like a fan boy, Fury even had him dancing at the weigh in. Now, to me, Whytes effort in the ring wasn't much different to usual, but his whole act outside of it when he was around Fury was very un-Whyte like.
Yeah maybe that played a part, he was not in fight mode, didnt have any of that old Dillian anger at his opponent. Whyte has landed a lot more often against alll his previous opponents, Helenius AJ both tall guys still landed. Wont mention Wach as he too stationery doesnt count. Against guys like Rivas Chisora Povetkin Parker he landed plenty at will. He would miss a few times but he was landing. Against Fury he didnt even want to try. Had no answer to closing the distance or fighting the midsection. He was lethargic, extremely slow, innacurate, no purchase on his punches. Just all round garbage. It pisses me off that someone comes in that big with that much brawn and cant even utilise it. Waste of muscle.
You don't believe Rivas knocked down Whyte even when he clearly put him down hard with an uppercut? Deluded.
Whyte got up quickly and won the remainder of the round. Wasnt hurt, wasn’t phased. When Fury put him down he was gone. And that was clear to see.
He was still knocked down, and said you don't believe it was a knockdown. He was also certainly somewhat hurt by it. That's delusion on your part.
Parker was knocked down by Whyte, when it was a headbutt. Wasnt caused by a punch. Same thing here. Rivas didnt hurt him with that punch so much as Whyte tripped over his own footing. Why would I need to lie on such a specific event here when I openly admit Whyte got floored by Parker in the 12th. I call it how I see it.
Oh **** off mate he was put down hard by Rivas, had nothing to do with footing. I just rewatched it there to make sure, his head flew back with that uppercut and he crumpled to the floor, he didn't trip on anything.
