Other than the Mercer, Holyfield & Moorer fight.. What are some of his best wars he ever competed? I just recently watched his fight with McCall, What a war. Tillman and Hernandez fights were exciting as well
Watch any of his Cruiserweight fights, his fight with Henry Tillman was pretty memorable. the Andre McCall fight was a good performance aswell. As for some of his lesser known Heavyweight fights. Willie DeWitt, Joe Hipp, Cecil Coffee, were pretty good performances.
Well you've pretty much listed all the ones, it's gonna be hard to find anymore there isn't any others that i can't recall. Bert Cooper was entertaining in his Cruiserweight days. As i said just search any of his Cruiserweight fights, they were normally always entertaining. He had a 2 year streak after the Riddick Bowe loss, where he was in good form and had some good performances. I don't recall any "wars" apart from the known ones which have already been listed. I know his fight against Mike Weaver recently become available on Youtube, i haven't got round to watching it yet. But i'd suspect there styles might mesh well, so you could check that one out.
Ahh ok thanks for the heads up i won't bother watching it then, i was more intrigued how a washed up Weaver went about beating a still dangerous Bert Cooper.
Just had a look thru my notes of the fight. Bert had a couple of moments where he got Mike's attention but gassed out by R3. Weaver did just enuff for me - i scored 97-94 which was pretty much in line with the judges , give or take a point. Poor fight according to my notes
His fights with Holyfiele, Moorer, and Mercer are mandatory. And the Henry Tillman fight is very entertaining as well. But all of his other fights are pretty one-sided I recall. Him annihilating somebody or getting annihilated himself.
im still looking for a video of his fight with Orlin Norris... going on ten years looking for the fight
That one with the bare knuckle tough guy, Bert just goes in and effortlessly crushes him. The gift that never stopped giving. God I love that clip.
