You know, we were supposed to have forgotten they were robberies by now. We should be fallowing the narrative that Canelo won those fights and he is the greatest. Stop bringing that up already. Lol.
GGG smashes Pavlik. Kelly's defense was shakey and that is nit a good th8ng against a killer like GGG.
Would love to watch this fight. Really don't see the argument for Golovkin stopping Pavlik, but I think he does pound out a decision.
Golovkin takes it with superior technical skill, speed, and timing, but it's not an easy fight unless he could catch Pavlik cold like Taylor and finish it off early. The 2007 version of Pavlik was a man on a mission. He had his limitations that ultimately would let him down against quite a few (foot- and hand-speed, reflexes, defensive holes, etc.), but he was a massive middleweight with a long jab, a lot of heart, and crushing power.
What was Somewhat similar to this. GGG is more technical and faster. But yeah, peak Pavlik was a beast too. Huge MW, great jab and thudding power.
Last time I checked it was a draw and Canelo officially won, another thing Canelo learned a lot from those fights he has improved this version of Canelo beats ANY version of ggg
No I'm talking about the prime Pavlik that stopped the man at that time in the division and by the way newbie Rubio was more prime when he fought Pavlik that's a horrible comparison
That was prime Pavlik that fought Rubio, Martinez, and got shut out by Hopkins. That was also the same Rubio that GGG destroyed. The difference was it was GGG fighting Rubio, just like it was GGG fighting Macklin, not Martinez or Sturm. It's cause and effect, you fight GGG most likely you get Knocked out. Look at Lara vs Martirosyan, then look at GGG vs Martirosyan. I think you get my point.
