Also Eddie Hearn: Parker v Chisora sky sports box office.

He's a gas man Hearn. Watched his most recent interview. The way he bigs his own interests up and dismisses everything else is abnormal. He doesn't even think or blink. Like a programmed robot.

Great promoter but as bitter as they come.

I think the sad truth is beginning to hit home on Eddie in that the DAZN initiative is not bringing the level of success I.e PROFIT, envisaged. I think he is putting on decent shows both here and the States but the small boxing audience ,on a global perspective ,are in the main are not willing to shell out for another streaming service. Consequently bitterness is bound to come out Parker v Joyce is a great match but I am not prepared to pay and happy to watch on YouTube next day . I said when Matchroom left SKY they would regret it and I am even more convinced of that.

I agree this is not a PPV fight but hardly any should be.

    He's right.

On paper, Chisora Pulls in big numbers. Joyce doesn't. So at least there was one horse there that could make it work (Del). There isn't one here.

Joyce isn't popular outside of the hard-core, and he has the personality of a stale sandwich. Parker isn't a big draw either.

The irony being that Hearn ****ing the British public in the ass with his PPV offerings means Parker has to be on PPV now.

Oh I never said Parker v Joyce is a PPV fight. However, how can Eddie Hearn tell us it's not when he put Parker/Chisora on PPV.

Parker v Joyce is a far far better fight than Parker v Chisora given both are ranked #2 and #3 with one Org plus JJ is undefeated.

Eddie has finally woken up and doesn't like the smell of his own brand of coffee...

With DAZN say they had won the rights to Fury vs Whyte I wonder how bigger effect it would have had on PPV sales?

It sounds as though it did over 1m. Hard to equate what it would of achieved with DAZN Pr opposed to BT/SKY

    Maybe 250k at a push.

That isn't to diminish the fight, it says more about the platform, its availability and it being known to Joe Public.
