Absolutely despise Hearn ! Used to think he was ok, but the more he's realised he's made an arse of it with DAZN, the more a ***** he's becoming.

He bleats on about 'the money they fighters will want/need, then it has to be ppv, and it isn't a PPV fight' ... he's the dickhead that started overpaying average fighters for average fights, giving them far too much money. Fat Bum Whyte being prime example.

Hearn created this whole mess of fighters expecting massive paydays and being able to buy Bentleys after every fight. That horse has already bolted and was looking a bit lame a decade ago but it's now due at the glue factory.

We are 4 years or half way into Hearns Billion dollar deal. He must be laughing his head off.

Exactly this. Boxing is a business and regardless of who the better fighter is out of the 3, delboy brought the PPV numbers. Pretty simple really

(genuine question) how has the move to DAZN financially benefitted Matchroom more than if they remained with Sky?

He's getting more money and by the looks of it is spending less on shows.

I remember writing in this forum that it's Eddie Hearn's biggest mistake in his promoter career to leave Sky Sports.

There's too many on here with no idea about the financial side of this sport.

Sky Sports Boxing is completely outstanding in terms of utilizing social media (Youtube, facebook, etc.) In fact, Sky is also far ahead of BT Sport in this area.

And it always was going to be.

Sky has been formidable since the very early 90's. They are a juggernaut of a company.

Boxing isn't a business though. It's a sport. There are too many people on here who believe the financial side of the sport.

I do not agree. Professional boxing is a business.
