Man, this is the first time I heard anyone admit this. I didn't see it live but I saw it on PPV and Bradley was the clear winner. I remember being happy for him and I never and still isn't a fan of his. Then the screams of robbery came and took all of wind out of his sails. The thing is Pac was clearly a better and more seasoned fighter by the time he fought guys like Vargas, Thurman, etc. Much better defense, timing, pacing, etc. The Thurman fight was one of the best performances of his career, that was his equivalent of Mayweather taking Canelo to school. The younger Pac who fought Hatton, Cotto, etc was faster and more explosive but was also much more reckless and got hit more. That could give Spence even more chances in some ways, but people seem to have a unanimous agreement Pac was invincible back then.
Pac fans literally sent Bradley's family death threats and I think Bradley mentioned that he even went to therapy over it. They are some of the most insufferable, irrational fanboys in the history of sports.

08-09 Pac was faster, more explosive, scrappier, had a higher workrate, and a better finisher. 2020 Pac had better timing, defense, accuracy, ring IQ, was a better counter puncher, and used his legs more effectively.

Just no lol The left hand happy version if Pacquiao was the one that needed refining...by 2008 he was a 2 handed buzzsaw at his absolute peak and he was a monster...the old version of Pacquiao is nowhere near as good...he fights more conservatively because he doesn't have that stamina anynore..he doesnt have that killer instinct anymore and couldn't fight with the same kind of intensity..his footwork wasn't as good...his jab wasn't better..... nothing he did was superior.
