if only Hughie Fury could transform his power like that. He'd be a real force.

He's 270 pounds and 6 foot 8 or whatever he is.

    Yes, he's powerful.

Powerful compared to who? He's not Wlad or Lewis by any means.

Fury is still light fisted when considering his size. Both Tyson and Frazier were more powerful, and how big were they in comparison?

I was just thinking the other day if Hughie moved over to the Kronk Gym, what sort of improvements could be made with him?.

He's still a relative pup too in heavyweight terms.

Fury wasn't and isn't a puncher and wasn't and isn't a feather-fisted fighter either. If someone who was known as a puncher just did the same thing, it would lead to a metric flipton of people talking about all the reasons why they think this means nothing because blah blah blah and blah. There is no transformation in power. Sometimes he-a huge man-fights to sit down on his shots and sometimes he doesn't. That was true before too.

Mike Weaver was 19-8 with 13 KOs (so 13 KOs in 27 fights) when he challenged Holmes ... then went on a tear afterward for about seven years ... then dropped off again as he got older.

He wasnt "featherfisted" to begin with...

Look at Fury vs Chisora 2 for an example.

Tyson Fury is getting stoppages because he is the far superior boxer, not just because his knockout power is now in the same bracket as George Foreman. Deontay Wilder is knocking guys out with one clean punch whilst Fury is giving his opponents a physical beatdown. It's like a dead arm. You could get a 10 year old girl to hit your arm. The first hit might not hurt at all, but eventually she'll give you a dead arm if she keeps hitting at the same spot. It's the same as hitting a tree with an axe. You could hit the tree very lightly, but if you keep hitting that tree in the same spot, then eventually it'll come down. Fury is beating guys by the sheer amount of accumulation of punches.

Gypsys have a 2nd puberty. one at 9 or 10, the other at 30-35. Hughie hasnt found his man strength yet due to not having his 2nd puberty.

Canelo is an obvious one - Couldn't stop Rhodes, Hatton but can now stop Kovalev with one shot.
JMM also became a puncher later in his career although like Fury I think this was more style based.

Fury has always had a dig.. Witness the Steve Cunningham KO, and while USS was a blown up cruiser no else stopped him either before or since. Furys style especially under Davidson was to box and move. Lately Fury has been more aggressive, on the front foot and prepared to land big shots. Whytes chin is also less than stella so no suprise he got taken out there.

Povetkin was never feather fisted. Statistically speaking he actually got less powerful as his career went on
