You couldn't ignore me if you put me on ignore. The HGH is why he had a heart murmur, pud. Benny Hinn isn't a miracle worker for FFS!

Definitely not great. In some ways lucky to get a win over Holyfield.
Was also lucky to get that second title reign.

He was good enough to beat a pre-Tyson-demolishing Holy, excuses or not. That said, he didn't have a heavyweight chin, nor quite the punch (though let's not overdramatize this, he was far from helpless in those areas). Back in the day he might have finessed the WBA title from Weaver and held onto through Coetzee, Tillis, possibly even Dokes and Page (taking into account the wild inconsistency of the latter two).

A good fighter overall but not nearly the fighter that he was at lightheavyweight.

No such thing as lucky in boxing (unless bad decision). Guys train very hard for what they earn. To say someone a contender and champion got “lucky” isn’t right at all. He beat Holy out right. Period. I personally think he gets ignored a lot…maybe he got lost in the personalities of the 90s that out shun him. He’s give a lot of people hell.

Good though not great, never seemed to recover from his knockout loss to Foreman.
Beaten with relative ease in Holyfield rematch & flattened by David Tua.

Hm, Well he was relatively okay, he beat Holyfield in a stars align scenario per the common belief. He just didn't seem to like boxing or people very much he made his rep at LHW. In reality his saving grace was just being a former LHW it was a pretty big deal to win the HW title in the 90s I reckon coming up two weight classes. Never mind the fact he was very big at that weight. I have never seen a fighter in such shark infested waters with little to chance of a successful reign then Moorer just look at the rankings in 94 and 95.

Moorer wasn't making it out of at most 3? title defences. Rough stuff. He'd always be a flash as a heavyweight champion no matter what he did as the man, he was really unlucky everyone there just about has his kryptonite/ the style to win.

My biggest problem with Moorer is he wasn't even clever like guys coming upstairs tend to be. He just made some very dumb choices in the ring that costed him.
