Terrible reply. There's a weird hate for Hearn here. He's a promoter. Don't let another man doing his job consume so much of your time...
Again, Warren tried to make it happen but it was looking a sure fire flop. So enough now. You've been proven wrong.
I know you're a bit hard of thinking mate, but whatever the reasons Warren did or didn't stick it on Pay Per View, it was free to air for BT Sports subscribers, that's a fact. No one has proven me wrong. Hearn was charging money throughout the pandemic for watching fights in his back yard. Have a word son.
It was free to air because it wasn't worthy of being PPV. You think Frank's gonna put his two best prospects at Heavy against one another and NOT make it PPV? Don't be silly. And Hearn had the brains and money to make fights happen in his back garden. Warren had to put on empty arenas AND the fights featured domestic level.guys, not World.class.guys like Povetkin. He's got a mansion and a brain, his back garden made him.a fortune. You probably have a knackered trampoline in your back garden. Have a word? You're the one talking about Oligarchs and stuff like that. Get some fresh air. Eddie is rent free in your head... its genuinely weird how people hate one guy so much.
A few posts on an internet forum doesn't consume much of my time, I'd be very worried if they did. No hate from me, just unfortunate facts about DAZN and where they are getting their funding from, which seems to get washed over on here. People seem to like discussing the business side of boxing and have been outraged at the Kinehan saga recently, so a bit of perspective can be helpful.
Joyce v Parker would've have been in on ppv with Hearn. The fight simply wouldn't have been made. Matchroom PPVs on sky ultimately still had to make money and Joyce v Parker is a risk. Dubois v Joyce again very much a risk hence they didn't make it ppv in the end.
They didn't make it PPV because it was a risk?? That's the opposite of your opening line regarding Parker and Joyce no? Or am i reading it wrong?
Nonsense. Matchroom put Lomachenko v Campbell on PPV FFS - was that not a risk? I think the answer is clearly yes, as it ended up doing poor numbers which Eddie has mentioned himself.
Yep and hearn was prepared to swallow the loss as he wanted to promote lomochenko in the UK. Just don't see Joyce v Parker having the sale kind of appeal to him somehow.
Fair enough although i disagree Hearn would have certainly put it on PPV What UK based fight involving Parker hasn't been? Ok the last Del boy fight but thats basically because DAZN currently dont have such an outlet
But that was more to do with Whyte generating buys. Joyce v Parker if break even was 200k buys yeah I could see it but anymore than that not sure it would be.
@Brixton Bomber aka The Bummer going hard on his double account lately. Extremely shite poster on both accounts. Up Earn's rectum, can't take any criticism of him or Joshua and every post laced with Bitrex.
