Only pretty much everyone he was said to be running from. (Except, uh, David Price, who declined an offer to fight and then derailed any possibility of a future encounter by getting battered by the likes of Teper and Hammer.)

If he retires now it's a duck. Even his many fanboys here knows that even though they won't admit it. I don't think he will, though.

    ,

Exactly, it's infinitely more probable that he boxes the Usyk-Joshua winner, so where's the onus on anyone to admit anything? Drama queens and suckers are just being drama queens and suckers.

I don't think Usyk and Joshua have signed to fight or agreed a date for the rematch as of yet.
How would Fury know how long he would have to wait around?

They do need to get on with it already. I wouldn't go as far as to say the outcome of Usyk-Joshua II is etched in stone, but, like Fury-Wilder III, it isn't the most intriguing of rematches for fans to have to wait around for — Usyk should win this return in emphatic fashion (a big kudos to Joshua if he somehow flips the script, but I can't see it).

That's the fanboy in you looking for excuses.

There is nothing saying it won't happen this summer. Probably in July. And it's not like he's in a rush. There is nothing suggesting he'll have to sit idle for long. He can have N'Gannou, as he says he wants, in the meantime if restless.

Retired or not retired? I’m sure Fury will recieve offers after Usyk - Joshua. No need to go full time dramaalert. Lets see what will happen.

    excuses for what?
I asked you a question and before trying to answer, want to make insinuations instead.
Openly admit that I am a fan of Fury and Usyk. Think both deserve credit. So what?
As it hasn't been to my knowledge signed yet, or a date set that I know of, there isn't much saying it will happen
That is no more than your speculation at this time
Do you really think that will hold the interest?
Really. An exhibition bout, where they were talking of using UFC gloves?

Now back to my original question that you have evaded...
I don't think Usyk and Joshua have signed to fight or agreed a date for the rematch as of yet.
How would Fury know how long he would have to wait around?

Even if the fight happens this year (which isn't yet confirmed) it could easily be another year before Fury is able to fight the winner, easily and assuming there isn't a trilogy even.

People will then say why doesn't he hang on even longer when there is absolutely no certainty as it stands at the moment

Preliminary July 23. So if July 23 is confirmed in a week it's too late for him to unretire, or what? It's just fanboy nonsense coming from you. Just because no definite date isn't set a week or two after his last fight it makes sense to retire? It's not like a year has passed or anything.

It only makes sense to retire if he wants none of that smoke. Rest is just ball sucking fanboy nonsense. End of.

    Not end of at all.
This once again comes down to you making nothing more than assumptions and trying to throw insults and insinuations because you can't defend your argument.

So you have a preliminary? Lol
Now there is no saying if that is going to happen, if that is going to be delayed, if there is going to be a trilogy. No saying at all.

So once again. The question you keep pathetically ducking...

How would Fury know how long he would have to wait around?

People will then say why doesn't he hang on even longer when there is absolutely no certainty as it stands at the moment

Usyk went up to HW pursuing the fight with Joshua not Fury

Fury, having been stalled around and manipulated by people in the past does not want to stick around for 3-4 years waiting for unification. Stalling sucks, ask GGG. If you want to nag somebody, bother Aj and Usyk's promoters and demand that Fury vs the winner fight later this year. Not down the road, not for a lesser percentage, not any BS that will for sure tank the whole enterprise. Personally I don't think Usyk or AJ really want to fight Fury any more than AJ really wanted to fight Wilder.

It's called prize fighting for a reason

You think he should fight for free?

How much did you not earn at work last week?

Fury doesnt care about money, could live in a council flat and be happy and besides that is already loaded to last a few generations.
    So thats not it.

He cares about putting food on his table to provide for his lovely gypsy wife Paris and their beautiful children

He came from the gutter and if he didn't care about how many zeros there are on his paychecks neither he or his family wouldn't be in the position they are today

He'd still be in the gutter wearing knock-off hand-me-down River Island clobber and eating five-day old stale hedgehog stew like me if that were the case
