Is Katie Taylor the female Canelo?

She's close to it but i'd say that Serrano was just absolute stupid. She had the fight in the bag but let it go in the last three rounds where she basically did nothing. Fight iq -1000.

 

This was a great fight and yes slightly controversial but no one can take away the fact that this is a great achievement by Katie

 

Absolutely agree. I thought she was saving herself for a late assault to seal the deal. She just couldn’t cope with Katie’s ring saviness and elite Amateur style. Serrano stepped off the gas

Yes she should have continued, the last round I thought Amanda did enough to win it if put Katie on ***** st again. Respect to both though for putting on a great show and the classiness at the end of the fight

Getting discredited for current performances/results because of a past favourable decision? Absolutely.

She won 6 rounds pretty clearly last night, but people are still unable to get over the fact (In my opinion) she lost Persoon.

The same way people will not give Canelo credit for clearly winning the second GGG fight, despite actually doing everything people gave GGG credit for in the first fight.

Taylor should have a loss on her record, to Persoon, not Serrano. Last night, she won because when they tired, her better skills won her rounds whilst Serrano was unable to cut off the ring.

 

This one wasn't a "robbery", but I scored it a clear win for Serrano, I gave Taylor 1, 9 and 10, with 8 being a split

No doubt this was the result the business wanted though

 

Canelo wouldn't fly over the Ocean to fight and there wasn't a 118-110 or (98-92) Scorecard.
I doubt there will be a positiv drug test either.

 

I felt a draw would of been the right outcome but I always favor the slugger. Hell I even picked KT to win but didn’t like the scorecards at the end. It just didn’t sit well.

Sorry but she looked sloppy v Amanda and tired at the end, both fighters taking shots and her punch technique is awful, she still fights like an amateur.

 

Didn't see her vs. Serrano, but other than the first Persoon fight, what else has she received in suspicious scorecards? She is a Matchroom fighter so that will always make some people wonder.

Canelo has had handfuls of 'em.
