Using the classic Dylian Whyte shoulder injury special https://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_...lder-injury-21-fight-vs-zach-parker-postponed
No... he just watched the last few Zach Parker matches, and his mind immediately psychosomatically attacked his shoulder.
No, Zach is a big boy, and very much a natural Super Middleweight, not some blown up weak chinned Light Middleweight.
Thank God for the delay. This means I have more time to prepare my mind for the torture of watching another Demetrius Andrade fight.
Parker is big, tough, can crack for sure. He's way harder than those fights and Liam Williams had Andrade hurt badly at least once if I recall correctly.
Demetrius Andrade is a pathetic waste of skill. Im not impressed by him and he wouldn't even beat GGG now but he's decent i guess. Yet the quality of his opposition is beyond mediocre.
True, but the one thing was I was actually going to go watch this fight, I have a friend who's a Derby fan and he's a big fan of Zach too as a result. Pride Park would've been a great atmosphere for the fight.
Yeah **** I didn't really consider that, he's the #1 contender so he should be the one getting an interim title shot regardless. A quick look has #2 and #3 being BenavĂdez and Lemieux, so that's them not happening, they've got their interim WBC title fight already. At #4 is Aslambek Idigov, which seems decent opposition for this stage of his career. I'd go to that anyway.
Just another entry in the disappointing career of Demetrius Andrade, whose best win was a split decision against Vanes Martirosyan.
The problem with continuing to fight these second tier guys as you get older is that you eventually lose to them. If he fights Charlo or Benavidez and loses he'd make a bunch of money and could come back to fight Parker. If he loses to Parker it's for no money and he's instant "name for a resume" status.
Too bad. Frank Warren doesn't want to take any risks with Parker, so either the show is cancelled or he'll fight against some random Bulgarian named Igor.
