Properly a deal to keep the authorities in Dubai happy. You bring them entertainment and they let you stay their.

Shame the fight is postponed. Unless it's a short postponement the fight won't take place at Pride Park because of football season.

Potentially will the governing body put someone else in for the interim belt?

It's classic Warren really. I know it's not his fault, Andrade pulled out, but some guys on here have been saying, post Fury Whyte, that he's back except 2 days after Hearn puts on an excellent show at MSG, Warren has yet another postponement. This was why everyone was saying that Fury Whyte wouldn't happen. Warren can't seem to take a show from the initial announcement of the line up to the night itself without multiple drop outs , postponements and reschedules. Some people might not like it but he's miles behind Hearn ( ' Tesco's compared to a cornershop ') and he's behind Boxxer as well, and they've been going 5 minutes.

He's only behind in a presentational sense. Boxxer and Matchroom put on terrible shows but dress them up so the casuals can either attend with their best Primark suits on, or watch with a few cans in the house. Only proper boxing fans would bother with some of Warren's smaller shows - they're just not marketed as events. Over the piece, the shows are much of a muchness.

Possible, but it was only ever an interim fight and Andrade is due his chance. I think they will let him have one delay if not too long. Could be an issue for Queensberry as they would have based their purse bid on getting a big crowd in Pride Park.

I agree with your post generally but there were quite a lot on here who were celebrating’ Frank’s Back.’ It wasn’t that long ago he was putting on multiple world title fight shows or the Magnificent Seven. Now he can’t keep an interim World title show together. His shows are blighted by pull outs and postponements. He had to cancel last Saturdays show and move it forward a week to add a little meat to the undercard of Fury cause of a late drop out. Hearn’s far from perfect but he’s putting on a sell out MSG show and a Canelo show in 8 days. He’s f@@king miles ahead of Frank. Frank’s not back, the shows he’s put on since the appearances of DAZN, Boxxer and Probellum have been awful.

Yeah, totally screws QP on that. Not sure If there is a rule on purse deductions after postponements?

Yep, no buzz, no proper undercard announced just 3 weeks before the event...
If it would have been Parker who got injured I would have called bull****.
