I really like this fight, probably better than the Brook fight.

Brook in his prime was better than Beefy but think Beefy would stomp him now.
Beefy is a bit bigger and just too tough. I don't think Brook has the stamina to keep Beefy off him,
Brook would need to stop him early and I don't see that happening.

Beefy has some underrated skills and a nice high guard.
High guards can be split by an uppercut so Jr really specializes in beating this type of come forward fighter.

Think Jr pummels him but I do think Smith would make it exciting and would have plenty of moments.

I think it would be a bit of a fire fight and would be a great watch.

    Any interest in this fight?

Would prefer Jr vs Charlo or GGG but both are busy atm

Jr vs Murata would be good too tbh

Eubank needs a fight and soon. He's fast becoming an irrelevance. After Smith's win last night, he probably doesn't need Junior. Would be a good fight though.

I think a man who will be 33 in September and avoided the toughest men in the division consistently throughout his career should now do so.

He needs to test himself against the best now or never. Let’s see how he gets on against the elite level: Charlo, Canelo, Benavidez or Andrade.

    It’s time, it really is.

This is where your legacy is defined.

Currently he has stepped up twice and lost twice. Plus beaten a shot to bits DeGale. That is what he will be remembered for. Fighting Smith doesn’t do much for his legacy IMO

Unless of course bridges have been burnt by refusing to sign contracts last minute against some of the bigger names. Then it might be tough to define your legacy now as managers think you are a **** tease

Why on earth should Eubank jnr get a fight against those guys? He has done nothing at all to earn a shot. We dont need to see him get outclassed a fight with Beefy is about his limit and a really good watch.

Whether we like it or not, his name recognition and notoriety make him a good opponent for one of the elite level MWs or SMWs

Over here maybe. It's time people just recognised Eubank for what he is and stop throwing his name in there with people like Canelo

Beefy v Eubank would be interesting and close. P4P Smith is better than Eubank. Eubank would have advantage on size/ strength, but Beefy has a better boxing IQ, jab and engine. Both a tough men. Smith has better punch variety, Eubank punches harder.

I still like the Brook fight for Smith. I reckon it would be a cracker.

I get your point and I’m not fan of Eubank, outside the ring and inside he’s very flawed. But he has beaten Degale, Korobov and Williams on this ‘streak’ and he’s marketable. Appreciate Degale was shot and Korobov was injured but they are wins nonetheless.

Canelo - he’s nowhere near but the rest including GGG I have no issues with. I mean Andrade has barely fought anyone his whole career and he’s in against Zach Parker next. Those guys (Charlo, Benavidez needs the fights themselves. Eubank is a clown though, so he could literally fight anyone next.

Becoming an irrelevance? He's never been anything but an irrelevance

Young CHRIS is still after a piece of GGG, so doubt he has any interest in a SMITH Bros.

Liam's definitely the more rounded fighter but unfortunately the size disadvantage would stand against him here, plus to his credit Eubank is effective against come forward opponents.
