Up there at WW, Trinidad was one of the best with a boat load of defence s. He could be dropped no doubt but he also had some serious power. So in the long list of welterweight s thru history, who's the best name he could possibly beat. Iyo??
Well if your talking about in P4P sense how highly there rated, then I'll go with Henry Armstrong. I think he'd be too small, and his swarming style wouldn't work against a lethal puncher like Trinidad.
I think he was a big welterweight with a good reach and heavy power. Not the best chin, but not terrible, same with his boxing skills. With his physical stature alone, I think he would be a tough go for just about ANY welter in history. Would love to see him in against Mayweather, Mosely, I think he destroys Margarito and Cotto, and the Paqioua fight would be very interesting indeed
