    Slava Rossiya.

Canelo needs to actually box. He can, but lately he's been doing that walkdown stuff but he ran into somebody who is stronger and also in better shape who can box.

No excuses from Canelo. But he did say he did enough? No chance. Still, this was a hell of a challenge and he actually went after Bivol in the fight which is to be commended.

Can agree to disagree from my perspective thought bivol did a lot of good work staying busy and boxing to his strengths but neither fighter was really able to land anything consistently just by sheer volume bivol landed more but most of the most telling shot were landed by Canelo. Saying that tho bivol boxed beautifully to get the win

As soon as he started talking about Usyk I knew his delusions had overtaken him

Canelo was actually fighting someone his own size. Bivol is 168lber beating up the LHW division. Bivol rehydrates to max 184lbs. Canelo himself said he'd be 180-182lbs.

Please no, there’s nothing I want to see less than Golovkin against Canelo. Golovkin is done.

Yes , extremely good at landing shots and pulling back out of range . Canelo size meant he just couldn't land that well

Sickening scores. At least they got it right in the end. Bivol dominated and proved to be the better boxer. It’s a shame he didn’t take more chances and knock him out but that was a wire to wire domination. Canelo may have won two rounds but a 12-0 clean slate score for Bivol is not a stretch. He was in control of the whole fight from start to finish and never in any real trouble. Great display of boxing from the young man.

This does not tarnish my opinion of Canelo as a fighter. He is not a LH and has no business at 175. He can beat alcoholic washed up types like Kov but if he fights Bivol again, he’s probably going to get beat even worse. I liked Bivol in this fight and picked him to win but didn’t think he could get a decision. Glad that wasn’t the case but it was too close for my liking.

Bull**** cards from corrupt judges. I was more concerned with the judges scoring the fight fairly than Bivol winning. He’s a bigger, younger, better overall fighter and is a natural 175 pounder. Canelo is a juiced 160 pounder fighting bigger guys. He needs to drop down to his natural weight and fight GGG. Fans will still pay to see it and Canelo will live longer if he stays away from guys like Beterbiev and Bivol.

Anyone know what Dwyer’s prediction was for this fight? He’s been consistently calling for Canelo to lose. Will his children finally get a good meal?

The money offered will be too huge to turn down for Bivol

I hear you but i just think bivol could knock him out next time. He showed the speed the power and the combinations. You rarely see canelo getting hit. Tonight he felt the power for the first time in a long long time
