Good for Bivol. Did well to alternate between boxing from range and marching forward behind the one two to keep Canelo guessing. He's also become one of the best defensive fighters in the game (which is impressive given that he was clipped with clean punches on occasion on the way up when attacking). Judges gave Canelo every possible benefit of the doubt, but came to the correct conclusion, which was that Bivol clearly won the fight.

In Canelo numbers it was a 115-113 fight.

No one was hurt in this fight, both Bivol and Canelo looked like they felt it at times but they weren’t ‘hurt’.

Would be stupid for Bivol not to rematch him. But he and Beterbiev need to challenge themselves and fight (after the rematch).

I've been saying for years that Canelo is over-rated.

    1. Shut out by 36 y/o Floyd Mayweather, who walked into the ring 15 lbs lighter
    2. Should have lost to Lara at 154
    3. Lost first fight to GGG clearly; close loss second time
    4. Kovalev fight was either fixed or Kovalev was shot
    5. 168 division is just utter crap, at least among the alleged "champions" Canelo was fightin

That said, don't want to take credit away from Bivol. He and his fellow Russian,Artur Beterbiev should fight next. Artur is like a 175 lb version of Canelo (at 154)

Yeah, he said that he wants to be treated as champion in the rematch. he has his own demands, maybe even in money aspect.

Yup, rematch would be $5M+ guaranteed.

Beterbiev fight would $1M at best and a much harder fight -- but also a better fight.

So they fixed the fight for Bivol to win a UD? What “Fix” are you referring to, Bivol literally won on all three cards?

LOL @ everyone thinking Canelo would fight at cruiser or heavy. He looked like a blob at 175. He's already heavy-footed at 168.
