His lack of speed was evident from the first right hand he threw.

This. His confidence will be smashed to pieces. Bivol literally didn't break a sweat.

Beterbiev would have put him in a coma tonight.

Beterbiev is also much bigger and stronger than Bivol too.

It would have been brutal and painful.

Golovkin doesn't need to worry about judging this time, he won't be making it to the final bell.

Still don't understand why there is rematch clause for a loser challenger

Good stuff. Too many casuals dismissing Bivol. I thought it was a 51/49 Canelo fight based on how lethargic Bivol gets in the later rounds, but he stepped up big.

My favorite thing Bivol did was when he was in close, just when you thought Canelo was gonna start teeing off, Bivol would jump in with his own 4-piece and push Nelo back.

I think Benavidez is a perfect comeback fight for Nelo. He can get himself back in the winning column, get a nice body shot ko, and people can finally put that joke of a challenge to rest.

Because it eats up 9-12 months where Bivol (insert any fighter) could be fighting a legit challenge.

I was saying that about the makabu match because that guy hits hard and took shots from heavy hitters.

I told everyone he had great defence and rarely gets caught clean and I don't even think he boxed his best tonight. That ring looked small to me and he was boxing on the biggest possible stage he could've for the first time and even though he appeared to handle it very well he must've been under a lot of pressure

Bivol won 9-3. And he needed all 9.

It will be disappointing for GGG if Canelo exercises his rematch clause.

Canelo would be a favourite over 40 yr old GGG at this point, but a clear underdog against Bivol.

It will be interesting to see which route he takes.

Alvarez has a habit of admiring his work and leaving himself open after throwing power shots. Bivol studied the tapes and he took advantage of the posing.

Other fighters get too intimidated and they back off. Bivol just pierces through Canelo's weaknesses.
