The thing is, I'm all for debates and different sets of opinions, I mean it's the sole purpose of a forum.

There are a few people on here that thought Alvarez had the better shots and that it was a pretty close fight.

I mean fooking hell.. No words.

I actually scored 4 for Canelo and one was a pick ‘em. 2,4,6,9 and the 1st was pretty bland with nobody doing much of significance, so give that to whoever you like better I guess.

I'll put money on it should it happen.

Canelo looked like a tough old bull ( always dangerous) in there tonight but he tired, and looked skill wise that his prime days are now over.

He's no longer top dog. I'll be honest and say what I think in that it's down hill now for Canelo regardless of the weight he fights at.

I saw many flaws tonight that I hadn't seen before in him. He's past prime period, imo. Mexican beef or not.

Canelo with his overrated head bobbing against bivols straights is hilarious and was predictable

Risk was mitigated by how much better shape he was in than Canelo by those late rounds and the fact that he was able to impress the latter with his punches (Canelo's tough, disguised it as well as he could, but the shots were taking a toll). It would've been dumb to step in earlier in the fight, but those late rounds were Bivol's time to turn the screw. He did at least take more of a shot at it in 11 and 12 (I'd be interested to see how those were officially scored).

I thought that when he was walking to the ring. I knew he'd lost it after hearing them talk about Canelo proudly saying he didn't need a catchweight or rehydration limit edge. I guess he did.:D

Agreed, Bivol won tonight, rightfully so…ain’t got a thing to do with GGG, he isn’t Bivol.

No, he wasn't fighting a 40 year old or a limited fighter for once.

Which of those rounds do you disagree with, since it’s so “incredible” it should be pretty easy to pick ‘em out.

    Canelo's new style

    Plod forward
    Throw power shots
    Stand back and admire work
    Back up opponent
    Throw power shots
    Repeat

    Same MO since Kovalev

    Bivol just figured it out

Canelo abandoned his boxing years ago because it would not have worked against these bigger guys.
