Rematch with Bivol or continue to be called out by the likes of Benavidez? Maybe just keep moving up and down weights finding his safer cherry picks?
Step 1: Never return to light heavyweight Step 2: take the military grade PEDs Reynoso had in stock for this very dire situation Step 3: Rematch GGG, finish off his corpse to get the mexican hype going again. Step 4: Delete PBC clowns Charlo and Andrade off the hitlist. Step 5: KO Benavidez Step 6: you have completed the Clenelo simulator
Back down to 168. Theres no point in a rematch with Bivol. I just dont see anything Canelo can change or do to beat Bivol in a rematch. Theres big money fights lurking at 168 for him where hes undisputed, and still the king.
The Kovalev fight should have taught him to stay the **** out of 175 and I thought it did at the time. I genuinely thought he learned his lesson and would go back down. I was very surprised when he took the bivol fight instead. Maybe now he will. Either he wakes up to reality and goes back down, or he takes the rematch. Although honestly, he could still win the rematch with how insane the judges are. Bivol damn near pitched a shutout and they still almost declared it a draw.
Canelo reminded me of Danny Garcia in that fight. Only more hopeless. ****ing hell funniest fight in a long time
A lot of good fights for Clen that may materialize because he just took a L and his stock took a big hit today.
Tbf he has loads of opportunities. The two most meaningful being a rematch vs Bivol and trilogy vs Golovkin. But he could also look for a comeback fight against anyone out there.
GGG then take out the winner of the Benavidez/Charlo/Andrade mix up then all it a day. Bivol was the measuring stick, if he won this he probably would line up Beterbiev.
A rematch would be a good option and an opportunity for Bivol to confirm that he is better than Canelo...
