Bivol claims he was 183lbs (in line with his previous HBO unofficial fight night weights) and that Canelo was strong. Canelo literally lifted Bivol up with his shoudlers lmao. Bivol is clearly a small Light Heavyweight, he looks tiny against opposition there.

Canelo claims he walks around 180-1lbs and that feels no different at 175 and that he essentially did not follow a vegan diet:

Canelos fight night weight at 154 lbs against Angulo and Trout was 174lbs and 172lbs, respectively... Let me repeat.. At 154lbs he weighed 174lbs...154lba....174lbs...

Claims that Canelo was too small have been debunked but there are still those out there with fingers in there ears. Bivol has height and reach on Canelo, but so did Callum Smith.. Only thing is Bivol came to take him to slick school. Eddie Worm claimed Bivol was gonna outweigh him by 20lbs.. Scumbag

We have Loma and Usyk giving away significant weight to bigger opponents and getting zero credit.. Yet we have this clown Canelo getting touted as the P4p king for his endless dodgy antics.

I'm going to become the first man in history who died from an overdose of being proven right too much

Do you have any idea how many times they've tried to lock me in an insane asylum for speaking truth to power and god's truth?

He got vegan steroids so his punches were just bouncing off Dmitry with little effect.

I wouldn't say he's too small fo 175. Canelo proved he can carry his power up to LHW. Look at that bruise on Bivol's Bicep. Damn Canelo can really punch. It's just Canelo's a slower and less elusive fighter at 175, so he's easier to hit at 175 than when he cuts weight and is more light on his feet at 168 or below. Carrying around excess weight isn't good for Canelo, he clearly gasses quicker and can't throw as many punches. That was very apparent vs Kovalev as well.

Frankly I think Canelo would be better fighting 175-ers if he pretended he was still fighitng at 168 and came in at 167.5 instead of 174.5. The version who fought Saunders last year wouldn't have gassed or been as easy to hit as he was last night. It seems Bivol still fancies moving down to 168 and fighting for all of Canelo's belts at a SMW. He sounds like he really wants to become undisputed at 168.

Imagine Bivol beating Canelo at 168 for all the belts.

Canelo is just not cutting weight anymore and has an more enhanced strength and conditioning programme so he can build explosive power to help carry him in fights if and when he needs it.

Previously, in older fights, alot of that hard work during training camp was undone and mitigated when he spent the last week or so cutting weight dramatically and thus losing alot of strength and power.

I bet he weighed the same against Bivol what he weighed against Amir Khan in the ring give or take a few pounds.

Difference is against smaller fighters he could use his size advantage and against bigger opponents his ring IQ could also bail him out.

Last night he just ran into a bigger and stronger fighter with a much higher ring IQ.

Rematch is now a bigger fight and payday of course, much like Femi's two defeats.
