I love Marquez...he's my favourite fighter...but no way he won or was even close to winning this...but let's be fair it's not exactly like its peak Marquez...he'd been on the slide for years and had no business at welter in all honesty.

Bradley pretty much outboxed JMM for the most part, although the KO on Pac helped a lot knowing the dangerous power JMM possesses. I had it either 9-3 or 8-4. JMM just couldn't be set and didn't know how to lead when Bradley was boxing on the outside. Bradley fought a smart fight.
Juan pushed it too far. With this fight. It was time to retire after the KO heard found the world of Plankiao. but the great fighters never retire gracefully, They have to be pushed out by the young lions.
JMM is one of my favourite fighters but he lost this one quite clearly IMO, JMM is amazing when fighters come towards him. But when he's forced to lead he can struggle at times, Bradley fought a smart tactical fight vs JMM. And JMM could never quite get going and was a step behind Bradley, to be fair to JMM he was getting on in age and above his best weightclass. I know he knocked out Manny Pacquiao, but for me and i know this sounds stupid. But i didn't think he looked as sharp or fast vs Pacquiao, he was losing and on the verge of getting stopped. until he pulled out that amazing counter right hand. But yeah Bradley's style would always pose a tricky style match up for the counter puncher JMM.

An impressive win for Bradley, both were great fighters. Would have loved to see Bradley vs Khan in their prime. If you havent seen Bradley vs Provodnikov, its an all-time classic!
I had Marquez winning 7-5 in rounds. The fight imo can be scored within a window of 7-5 either way it was that close. So many of the rounds were razor close. Most fans dont have a clue how to score a fight. What alot of people focused on in Marquez-Bradley was on body language. Bradley was the more athletic and bouncier fighter. His poses in the ring were one of "I'm out slicking and outboxing you, so if you focused on that instead of what you should be focused on (which is the actual punches being landed) then it creates this illusion that Bradley is winning handily. Posing and smiling should not get you points. If you focused on the actual punches landed and the quality of them, they you see a totally different fight, a close fight that could be scored either way and yes Marquez' way if you actually value the quality of the punches. I thought Marquez landed the cleaner harder shots in more rounds than not which is why I had him winning 7-5.
Whie I couldn't disagree more with your score, I do admire your hard work and dedication. I've done blow by blow run downs just like this, for select controversial rounds in close fights, and I can attest, it's arduous work and a pain in the ass. So I hope people will give you credit just for the effort, even if they don't see eye to eye with your assessment.
