I think Charlo seals the deal this time in another epic fight!

Brian's hands are too quick for Charlo. Good fight that could go either way

Much more interested in seeing whether Team Charlo are up for a round 2 of hostilities with Castano's manager Sebastian Contursi than I am the rematch between the fighters.

Contursi was a feared street fighter in his day and had security not been there to get between them he was fixing to beat the living crap out of Team Charlo on his Jack Jones.

Notice how Castano didn't get involved when it got heated and that's because he knows exactly what Contursi is capable of.

What the hell you think you're doing, bro?

Derick James was actually being civil and just looking at the scales when a low class thug manager tries to block his view and intimidate him. Sebastian Contursi should have stayed on his teams side of the stage instead of going across to Derrick James and starting something.

Also, on behalf of Marcos Maidana, I can pray to see Sebastian Contursi KTFO seeing as he robbed him of at least half a millie. Later, at another show, Maidana's friend spat on Contutsi and then got ejected from the show.

Castano didn't get involved because he is focused on the fight the following day. Of course his manager can yap away to drum up some drama and intrigue.

Didn't know that about him ripping off Maidana, though. POS if true

Castano actually gets credit for the 9 rounds he wins this time, by winning all 12.

Aw man, how did I miss that? I need to log off and search for my sense of homor which has clearly left me :(

Hey, I'd really like to know what you think about the rematch? More of the same? Charlo to improve his tactics? That's what I am thinking.

Personally, I didn't see Charlo winning and if he got the decision I would have called it a robbery. A draw was somewhat acceptable but regardless of the decision announced, it was a fight that absolutely required a rematch. I'm glad we are getting it this weekend.

I don't think we will get another robbery in the rematch so I think it will be a fair decision this time. Kind of like Canelo, you can only give so many robbery decisions to 1 fighter before you kinda have to stop. Although, this was the first gift for Charlo.

So, I couldn't find anything other than these two videos right now, but I remember seeing more about it a couple years ago. Thinking about it now, who knows if it is true, I mean Maidana could have spent all his money and is missing what never existed? Maybe a misunderstanding. I guess there is no proof of anything.

Agree with the first part of your post. But eh, the second part, that's debatable. I and quite a few others had both Martirosyan and Trout beating Charlo.

No worries. I just found the whole thing amusing and I like to joke around

I haven't given it any thought really. I'm pretty cynical and jaded and the fact the rematch it's in the US and they're probably going to have three US judges again leads me to suspect Castano might get stiffed again should he do enough to get his hand raised.

Jermello hurt Castano a couple of times so we can't rule out him maybe catching and stopping him, but by the same token Castano is tough and busier and he might outwork him. And IIRC he hurt Jermello once too albeit I might be remembering it wrong. Tough one to call

Another problem is Castano added a ridiculous amount of weight after the first fight. Something like 40 pounds. It's in LA this time and hopefully he gets a better shake from the judges.
